Definite Outlet quality, thus the outlet price!
I purchased the Young Gun Red Junior set w/bag recently for my junior golf player. The set looks nice, but I surmise that this Seller sells secondary merchandise.....thus the name-- Golf Outlet. My set has defective stitching on the bag, which will probably require repair soon to avoid definite holes here and there. Also, the clubs themselves have nics and chips, which I didn't mind as much, since they are going to take a beating anyhow with my young golfer. However, it's nice to pay for a new set and receive a good quality new set, free of so many obvious flaws. I received my item on the date it was promised. If I had the time to spare, I would have probalby returned the set, added a few dollars, and purchased another set from another company. If you don't mind the "second" quality and don't mind having to do some preventive repairs, I recommend this set for a young golfer, not over age 10.

Good product but terrible delivery
My Organizer arrived in badly damaged condition because it obviously had been dropped at least once. After I returned it to a local Golfsmith store and got a new one, I assembled it in about an hour and am very pleased with the finished product. It looks so good that it shamed me into reorganizing and cleaning up the garage that it enhanced.

This product was very reasonably priced in comparison to other similar products with the exception of putting it together yourself. It was easy to put together and only required under 1 1/2 hours. The quality was very good but an occasional flaw or chip in the wood was evident. For the overall price though, the recipients of this gift were overjoyed and felt it was a fine enough piece of furnishing to have a spot in their foyer!

Hammer Driver
I've only had this driver for approximately three weeks and have just used it twice on a golf course.

While it has not necessarily given me added distance, as advertised, it has made my drives straighter. Hopefully, distance will come with practice.

After using the driver I decided to order the 3 wood, only to find out you no longer had them in stock and did not know you would be getting more. Too bad, because for the price, these are good clubs.

Do Not Buy This Club!
This club is all hype. I took a chance purchasing this club after reading the description, thinking that I could perhaps add a few yards to my drives. I'm certainly not the best golfer around, but I couldn't even come close to the distance from my old driver. It acts and feels exactly like a $39 driver. Do yourself a big favor, stay away from this junk, and buy a used TaylorMade or other name brand from a golf re-sale store.

Wilson Pro Staff - value for money
Certainly not the best golf set I've used, but good value for the price I bought at (about $171). Unfortunately, no head-covers for the woods and hybrids.

Good set of beginner clubs
Received and tested the clubs today. I've only been playing for about two months but have been going about 3-4 times a week. Was using a friends set of clubs before and finally got these for myself, we both tested them out and agreed they are very good clubs. Got the firm flex and it seemed to suit us better than his regular flex clubs.

Very nice set
After having not played for over 8 years, I decided to start again. My old set of clubs was still in good condition but I wasn't able to hit very well with the drivers as I used to. They have the older smaller heads. So I decided to by a new set with the larger driver heads and hybrid clubs. Found this set was what I was looking for.

So far I've been very pleased with them. The larger driver heads helped me out alot. The hybrids are fine also, I could never hit a 2,3, or 4 iron. The woods are light and for me easy to swing. The irons are fine also. I like that they are the new wide body type.

The only thing that takes getting used to is the sound of the drivers hitting the ball. It sounds like you are striking 2 aluminum pipes together.

Over all, I very pleased with the set.

Starter golf clubs
Brought these clubs for my husband in 2007...well his first or second outing to the driving range one of the heads flew off!!! The company immediately sent him a new one although it was not the same brand as the one I brought but they did respond very quickly. I did not want to spend a lot on some clubs for my husband since he had never played so I did not know if he would like the game. Okay clubs for beginners.

broke within 10 swings
The graphite shaft wood broke within 10 swings at the driving range. Pretty embarrassing when the club head flies almost as far as the ball you just hit. The other clubs seem to be holding up a little better, but time will tell. I don't feel as though they will hold up very long however. I didn't expect much from these clubs based on price, but I did expect to make it through at least one round before they broke. Hopefully I won't get hassled about a replacement or repair.

Lots of room and can take the abuse
I've had this bag for 6 months now and its been through rain, a couple of drops and drags. Its got a lot of room to fit virtually anything you can think of. My friend has the same bag and he packs his shoes and water bottles and theres still room for the kitchen sink. The best are the shoulder straps though. The padding is very comfortable and its well balanced to carry around. Love it.

Ordered this for a gift for my Husband, he loves this bag. Plenty of storage and light weight. The stand is easy to use.

Best bag for price. Without question.
I just purchased this bag because my old bag was done for and it is an amazing thing. Tons of space. (right now I have my shoes, the rain cover, two boxes of balls, and a towel in it and there is still room for more.) Stands upright with out any issues. The base is tip top. Not to mention the fact that it is light as can be. No problem shouldering a walk for 18.

I would recommend this bag all day.

TaylorMade Men's r7 SuperQuad 460 Driver

This is my third R7 driver. I cracked the crown of the first one (a major crack, about 3/4 inch split right on the top - TaylorMade DID NOT REPLACE IT even though I was within the warranty period) on a drive that endd up being 320 yards. I still own my second R7 460, but the wrong shaft is installed for my swing. Instead of buying a new shaft, I bought the most recent model, the TP Superquad. It came with the original Taylormade "X" extra stiff shaft.

From the first hit, the Superquad TP was rock solid, sounds great as well. The face is open 1 degree, which I like. Very easy to manipulate ball flight (low, high, fade, draw) with he weights set up for straight hits. It's a very good driver. I think the extra stiff shaft really allowed me to swing hard with confidence

I usually hit the ball a very long way, averaging 280+, and hit a 370 yarder (wind aided) with his driver. On one hit, there was a familiar thunk. The crown cracked - my second cracked R7. This crack was much smaller than the first one, about the size of my pinky fingernail. I can still use it to hit 280+ drives. Although the driver plays great, I simply don't feel like buying drivers that I have personally experienced failures with and will not purchase another TaylorMade driver.

Very good driver as far as feel, control and distance. Quality control is an issue with me.

A quality product travel case
This is a stand out product.
It weighs a little more, but the quality of the hinges, latches, wheels, handles etc. is outstanding.
I use it for shipping trade show posters, materials etc. with the check in weight usually around 25 kgs.

Nike Sasquatch Sumo Driver

I bought this driver (Stiff, 13 degrees of loft) on the recommendation of a golf instructor. For a taller, more athletic build, a stiff shaft is better, and that 13 degree loft helps me get the ball in the air. I added 30-40 yards to my drives, and when I catch one solid, I can now get 270+ yards from the club.

The club itself is very light compared to my old driver. The graphite shaft and hollow head of the club make the Sumo extra light. I can really get some club speed going with it.

It makes a pretty noticeable noise when you hit the ball, almost like and aluminum bat. You'll catch some stares from other people at a driving range the sound is so pronounced.

All in all, this is a great club, and I find I'm hitting more fairways not just adding distance to my drives. It seems pretty forgiving off the tee.

For the price, you can't go wrong. They sell these for 2-3x as much at pro shops.

I purchased these after looking around quite thoroughly. These are absolutely perfect to get the little ones into the game. My 3 year old has been asking to go golfing for a long time as we live on a course, so we finally went and these are great for her. She is still a little short for the AL500 but should be good when she is 4 and a bit better at taking instruction... till then she can just hit the ball her way. I recommend these highly.

As for not getting spacers... Then never said that they were included, and they are sold separately for $10 ... not a big deal as I don't need them for 2 years at least.

Guerin Rife Two Bar Mallet Offset Putter

You will not believe how true your ball will roll using this putter. I have played the TWO BALL putter for a year and it's not even in the same league. I won't get into the tech behind it, who really cares, their website covers it in depth. The ball just holds it's line, no skipping, no hopping, and attacks the hole. Anything 4ft and in is a gimmie because the ball just will not steer from its' course. And alignment could not be easier, place ball between two bars and watch it disappear in the hole. Actually the ball was too hot off of the face when I first put it in play...more than a few balls rolled right over the hole. After a few practice sessions at the range, MONEY! The confidence I get from this putter has affected all aspects of my game because I know even if I hit an errant drive or fairway shot I have a great chance to scramble for par once I chip on and one put with the RIFE! Do yourself a favor, stop over paying for that driver that you will only use 8 to 9 times a round and invest in a club that will really save strokes where it counts.

Guerin Rife's 2 Bar Blade putter is probably the last putter that you'll ever have to buy. With 3 different sets of weights you can set the putter weight for standard, light or heavier weight. You can even set the weight to be heavier at the toe or the heel. An attractive case with 3 sets of weights and the Allen wrench is included.

The video narrated by Jim McLean is excellent. No new strategies are outlined but the tips are solid.

The putter is customizable with regard to the lie angle, also. The accompanying video shows you how and a tool is included on how to do it.

The putter looks like a hybrid of a "blade" and a mallet. With the weight ports, you can easily align shots for straight putts. The styling is innovative. The forged milled Aluminum composition with a Charcoal Grey finish is eye catching. The putter head has a roll grooved face which is very soft. The feel and sound of solid contact are incredibly pleasing. Weight and balance are ideal. The handle by Winn is very comfortable. The head cover is padded and protects the putter head.

Given the ability to customize many factors with this putter, this truly may be the last putter that you'll ever buy.

TaylorMade Men's Burner 460 Ti Driver

Club is the best driver I have hit in many years. Playing companions agree that I am driving the ball straighter and much more consistent than I had been. Also the good news is that I have NOT lost any distance while being more consistence. Club appearance and specs result in a better club. Only negative is the grip was tough on the hands - switched to a WINN grip. Club purchased was 10.5 loft with "R" shaft. Currently playing to a 14 handicap.

This is amongst the easiest drivers to hit that I have ever had. If this driver has an Achilles heel, it's that you shouldn't over swing with it. Swing easy and through and this driver will take you down the center of the fairway. It plays accurately; i.e., if you purchase a 9.5 degree, it will give you the corresponding trajectory. Nice club for the mid to low handicap golfer. I would say I really love it.
